Julie is a certified trauma informed health and wellness coach and professional resilience coach with Forward-Facing® Institute.
Before finding FF, She found herself in her own patterns of coping behavior that were impacting relationships, career, and quality of life. Outwardly,she appeared to be calm and controlled, however she struggled inwardly with extreme anxiety. Her healing journey has been long, and she often felt discouraged that her past seemed to be holding her hostage. Finding the Forward-Facing® program has transformed her life, giving her the tools to live with intentionality and freedom from anxiety.
Julie is also a licensed and ordained minister and serves as the lead chaplain for a local police department in the Dallas – Fort Worth area. After years of being a chaplain, she has seen the effects of compassion fatigue and burnout that comes with having a high intense job such as a first responder or healthcare worker. She has witnessed the detrimental impact on their lives and the lives of those that love them. She has also been called to homes where death, tragedy, or violence has touched lives and now they must work to live with the repercussions.
As a trauma informed coach, she has learned that stressful lives, high intense jobs, or trauma do not have to have a negative effect on our lives. It is her passion to help individuals build a healthy resilient life.

As a Trauma Informed Coach, I provide the tools and methods needed to empower you to bring healing to yourself.
In these sessions we focus on job related compassion fatigue and burnout. You will develop the tools to bring healing and the skills to continue working in your career with renewed passion and resilience.
I work with groups on how to build resilience in life by understanding and practicing the tools and methods needed for healing based on science and research.
I work with couples to change the way they relate to each other by giving them the tools to create a meaningful life together.
